Solace in Twilight Poster

When I began to reimagine this image, I tried to capture a moment in time, much like how you might remember a beautiful sunset or a peaceful moment in nature. I was not as interested in making everything look exactly like real life. Instead, I wanted the viewer to focus on how the image made them feel.

I tried to achieve that goal with the use of bold colors and loose brushstrokes to create a dream-like quality. The greenish sky gives the image an otherworldly or surreal feeling, which makes it seem like a peaceful, quiet moment right before nightfall. The colors are soothing yet slightly unusual, suggesting that this is a special, almost magical time of day.
